  • Shower before you come into the sauna, wear swimwear, sit or lie on a clean towel in the sauna to prevent direct contact with the bench. Saunas are communal spaces, and this helps maintain cleanliness.

    Respect the peace of others by sitting in silence or using hushed voices. Many guests come to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Our saunas are a technology free zone for others privacy and to maintain the peaceful atmosphere.

  • A sauna is a small room or building designed to experience dry heat sessions, typically used for relaxation and health purposes.

  • Thermal therapy is an effective way of releasing tension in both the body and the mind.

    An ancient practice which has many health benefits, including stress relief, muscle relaxation, improved circulation, detoxification, and skin rejuvenation. It is proven to both energise and rest the body.

  • Our saunas typically reach temperatures between 70°C to 90°C (160°F to 195°F).

  • Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as heart disease or high blood pressure should consult with their healthcare provider before using a sauna. If in doubt always check with a healthcare professional first.

  • In general, it's best to avoid prolonged exposure to high heat during pregnancy.

  • Sauna use for children is not recommended due to their sensitivity to heat. However, teenagers 15+ may use the sauna when accompanied by a parent or caregiver and for limited durations.

  • Please wear a swimsuit in the sauna and sit on a towel for hygiene purposes.

  • Hydrate well before entering the sauna and avoid consuming heavy meals or alcohol. Take a shower to cleanse your skin and remove any lotions or oils that could interfere with sweating. Remove jewelry.

  • We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere so no devices are allowed in the community sauna. A complimentary relaxing playlist is provided. Private sauna hire groups can bring your own music.

  • Sauna use during menstruation is generally safe, but it's essential to listen to your body and exit the sauna if you feel uncomfortable. Some people prefer to avoid saunas during their menstrual cycle.

  • It's best to refrain from eating or drinking in the sauna to maintain cleanliness and prevent spills. However, you should hydrate adequately before and after your sauna session.

  • There is enough space for 6 people at a time. In community sauna sessions we limit spaces to 4 people so you have plenty of space to relax. A private session booked during any of our community sauna days allows 1-6 people.

  • We use recycled wood waste as fuel which is very low emissions and high in efficiency. Our logs are made of compressed sawdust with no additives

  • There is a hook outside the sauna to hang your towel. Please keep your valuables in your locked car or hand to the attendant to keep in the company car. All care taken, no responsibility.

  • Bookings are essential, please book your spot on our bookings page.

  • Many people arrive with their swimwear underneath so they are ready to go. There are also public bathrooms near most of our community sauna locations.
